Shapewear Entrepreneur

We don’t often mention Sofia Vergara in the same sentence as Jill Zarin and Bethenny Frankel, but Modern Family‘s fictional housewife is joining both Real Housewives in the shapewear market.
The star is expanding her sexy Kmart line to include nine pieces of foundation garments, which Vergara calls “so sexy.”

Shapewear has always been a part of a woman’s wardrobe, but I wanted it to look cute, not like a horrible girdle,” Vergara tells WWD. “It’s for the everyday woman who wants to look good without spending a lot of money on shapewear, earrings or high heels that make her look cute and sexy.”
